25 June 2009 - A 10-year-old died by tear gas and 8 others were killed and wounded by Bassijis, according to eyewitness reports on Wednesday In Tehran Amirabad’s district. On the twelfth day of the nationwide uprising in Iran, the people of Tehran poured into the city’s streets on a massive scale. Central Tehran was the scene of clashes between people on the one hand and the clerical regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the paramilitary Bassij force, special anti-riot force, plain-clothes agents, the State Security Forces (SSF) and agents from the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), on the other hand.

I think its time we do more than issue strongly worded statements. Economic sanctions anyone? Lobbying UN anyone? Serious lack of taking a stance here on Obama's part. We don't have to send troops... just something other than non-commital rhetoric.
