Former US ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton told Tory delegates in Britain Sunday that efforts by the UK and the EU to negotiate with Iran had failed and that he saw no alternative to a pre-emptive strike on suspected nuclear facilities in the country.
Bolton said that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was "pushing out" and "is not receiving adequate push-back" from the West.
"I don't think the use of military force is an attractive option, but I would tell you I don't know what the alternative is.
"Because life is about choices, I think we have to consider the use of military force. I think we have to look at a limited strike against their nuclear facilities."

If we don't strike our traitorous media will have the nuts over here loving him and siding with him! Our local news gave that idiot almost 5 minutes coverage last night! Everything from his visit and speech at C.U. to how he went to spend time with Chavez.

Send all our Hollywood nuts to live over there and let them have a taste of whats really going on.

I think we need to back off of Iran. This is a Russian trap and Iran is the cheese.

Russia can't get out of their own way, they are a shell of the former USSR.
They are really not a world wide threat anymore. Regionally ,sure but their military is in tatters.

Thank you. Neo-con John Bolton is a warmonger and he does not needed to be place within State Department. which its main objective is peace.

I don't know about John Bolton, but I am not a neo-con or a warmonger, but I DO see a very serious threat here. You might be right, TheKing...but, I also agree with BigWet on his comment. I think Russia IS working on alleviating their situation however. They ARE building back up for sure. I really worry about all of this...it may happen far away in Iran, but it WILL come here this time and the whole world will regret ALL of this. Darnit, why can't people just be decent and level-headed? Sigh.

I will be devils advocate
If the us were to make a preemptive strike into iran we could not due it alone.
We need the help of a great allie a great new allie China .
A massive ground invasion
This is the only concievable way one could accomplish this.
With america and china as allies this would be the greatest allience in history.
As we all know china has the largest ground force in the world.

Blowing up a nuclear facilty will only harm the citizens that surround it.
Not the iranian government. they will just build it again out of sight.
We invaded the country afgahnistan looking for a group of terroists
we invaded iraq looking for wmd as stated by bush.
When all along iran with their puppet syria was the most obvious threat to western civilizations including isreal.
