US and Canada to go to war???

If the wrong party gets elected in the upcoming Quebec election (Dec. 8), they eventually may leave Canada as there are many seperatists living there. The last vote to seperate from Canada failed. The "No" side won with 50.6% of the vote... the next time it could in fact go through especially if the opposition parties wins this election.

Will they join the US? Will they cooperate with the US? Will Canada go to war on Quebec? Will the US join in?

I have heard about this. I DO know Quebec is really wanting to break from Canada. I have been to Quebec and I don't think they would EVER want to join the US for sure. A lot of people in Quebec are pretty bitter for some reason. I don't have anything against them, but I'm sure not going to learn French to speak to them. I think if it boiled down to it and Quebec seceded from Canada, Canada would be forced to use force on them to reign them back into the fold.

WHY? Well, take a look at a map of Canada...who controls the MAJOR shipping waterway into Canada? Quebec! It would NOT be in Canada's interests to have Quebec secede and have almost total control over Canada due to the St. Lawrence waterway...
