Unhappy A Liberal Supermajority

Quote:
If the current polls hold, Barack Obama will win the White House on November 4 and Democrats will consolidate their Congressional majorities, probably with a filibuster-proof Senate or very close to it. Without the ability to filibuster, the Senate would become like the House, able to pass whatever the majority wants. Though we doubt most Americans realize it, this would be one of the most profound political and ideological shifts in U.S. history. Liberals would dominate the entire government in a way they haven't since 1965, or 1933. In other words, the election would mark the restoration of the activist government that fell out of public favor in the 1970s.

WiseOne's Comments, that is an EXCELLENT article! Very well said and I do admit I am scared. I fear what is coming to America. I think the writer of this article was dead-on. I think we are DOOMED.

If that happens Wiseone, then May God help us all. History has always proven that one-party leadership has been the downfall of every nation. In our country it could take the place of the mildly socialist to the extreme dictatorial. That isn't what I was born into. I love my country, but I want my freedom!

I agree! I think this will be the final nail in the coffin for this country. I don't think this country can hold up under a Obama, Pelosi, Reid majority...ESPECIALLY with a filibuster-proof majority! We are doomed and I am sick to my stomach.

I think the polls have been significantly skewed to believe they have not been accurate all. I've read the stories about more Dems being polled than Reps, but that isn't the end of it. We had a national poll call our house htis past weekend and our 15 year old daughter answered their questions. They never asked if she was registered, legal, likely, or anything to vote? I would place my bet that McCain is up 20 points on election day!

Thanks for your common sense on this one wise one, We as Americans need to stand up to make sure that no 1 party ever takes control. No matter the party you believe in, 1 party control is imperialism and not having any voice. Neither party has ownership on being American!
