| States beginning to retake their sovereignty back. It was just in the news yesterday that a few states have already decided to reascertain their authority as sovereign states. Alaska is one of the ones ready next to do the same and kick the federal government out of the states' business. Our nation is on a downhill slide and the democrats (aka Socialist Party) can do nothing to stop it. You can pass a big stimulus package but where is the money coming from? The printing press as usual. It's been an extremely long time since money was backed by the gold and silver standard. We are now going to cause ourselves hyper inflation that will be like nothing that was ever even close to the last depression. I can't believe that some of you honestly think that our government is capable of fixing the problems this nation has. We are damned if we do and damned if we don't. It would be better to just let society collapse and let the chips fall where they may. This nation needs a severe wakeup call and it's time to start over from the bottom up and get rid of big government. Let us go back to the way things were many many years ago when things were alot simpler. All man has done is complicate and further complicate things. I am even in agreement with Alaska's Independent Party. Now is the time to succede from the union permanently and be our own country. I am glad to see that many of the states including California are planning to take this next step by asserting the use of the 9th and 10th amendment. If we continue down this road, things are going to get a hell of a lot worse for everyone, no different than Germany. Germany took the same road we did for years and years and look at what happened to them. Our weakness will be anothers gain. Just as Russia is looking for an opportunity at grabbing Alaska back. The only agreement I can say I agree to is that we as Americans need to stand together side by side in order to do what needs to be done. And it needs to be done for the good of everyone. America needs a makeover, a drastic one and the only way that will happen is by drastic measures. Think about it. |

| I agree LL. The states have been chasing govenment carrots to the point of almost no return. In some cases it may be too late. We need to go back to allowing the Fed Gov. to do only what they originally were intended to do and stay out of the states affairs...but the state has to stop with the handouts too.
