Congratulations to Barack Obama, the first ever African-American president of the United States. The incoming inauguration, named as the new birth of freedom, will mark the beginning of world peace and democracy.
Also, the world is hoping for Obama to become an able and intelligent president who will rescue America and the world from the disastrous economic crisis.
Lastly, the traditional alliance system of the United States established during the past 50 years, including the ROK-US alliance, will greatly benefit from the new president who values the international system.

Ok don't you mean bi-racial. half/white, half/black. Just because he's a black man don't mean he's going to accomplish jack.

He's a human being like everyone else. I wouldn't be to proud of a man who descends from Africa seeing as how the Africans are treating people over there who aren't black.

Amen. I'm sick and tired of everyone treating this man like Jesus. He is compared to Abraham Lincoln yet Lincoln was humble unlike Obama, and Lincoln was defined by his actions as a president. We haven't seen enough to determine if his path will be a good one for the country. What he has done is set a lot of expectations for a lot of people and making them all happy will take some superhuman ability. Let's hope Obama's blackberry is magic.

I'm open to see what he does but I have severe doubts. Either way can't we wait to see what he does before everyone declares him the savior of the free world??

I'm sick of the Bush bashing. You cannot generalize a President, all of them had decisions we liked and others we didn't agree with. I didn't agree with alot of Clinton's actions but he actually did decrease the national debt, so I give credit where credit is due. Did you know one of Bush's aid programs provided a decrease in AIDs rates in africa.

And we like to rest the Wars on the shoulders of Bush yet Congress approved them and we called for an end to the terrorist threat. Do your research, don't be persuaded by biased media, and stay open-minded. Closed minded reliance is killing this country!

Not to mention all of the Obama supporters praise his idea for working together (with dems and repubs) to find solutions to problems yet they are very quick to boo Bush and criticize him whenever possible. How about you Bush hating Obama supporters start living up to you word. If you want a non-partisan government it starts with you!

hmmmm well the "great one" had had what 56 days in office......don't think it had been this miraculous wonderful world. Not so peaceful, not do prosporous if ya got...errr had.... a stock portfolio.....if you are going to be in need of serious medical attention in the future well forget it if you are past a certain age because it will cost to much to keep you alive and or healthy.......need I go on?

President Obama will do exactly as he is told. Do you think the real powers that be are going to let him repeal trade w/China or Mexico and bring those jobs back home? We are having an income crisis. Because, when people make good wages they pay their bills! Obama was a made up media canidate. I could go on but it would be better if you all saw two videos. Wake Up Call and END GAME on Google Videos. Then let's chat!

DJ you are right he was what a Senator for how many days???? I said days not years and all of a sudden he is the canidate of choice????? He was hand picked for a reason and Hillary was sold down the river by her own party......BO is somebody's puppet on a string and he just can't figure out how to be a president......

I know Obama's grandma even said she KNOWS he was born in Kenya as she was THERE when he was! She said it on national TV, yet it was just ignored, WTF?
