| 11 trillion dollars US and counting I didn't believe that even Bush43 could double the national debt in 8 years. He has surpassed this figure and is leaving the next administration with another headache: "Its only 700 billion dollars". Deficits will be forced on the American people for as far as the eye can see. Bush43 has kicked the ball down the street on virtually every major policy he has instrumented. The World Trade Center is just now starting. Katrina was and still is a disaster. America now uses torture and retention as a means of gathering intelligence. The world community has changed its opinion of the US from respect to fear. We are invading countries for their resources and our military is stuck in an unwinnable police action. Our stock market is falling and the financial markets are in total freefall. For the first time since the depression the next generation will have a lower standard of living than the present one. So what does the RNC state: "The difference between a soccer mom and a bulldog is lipstick". If America elects Bush43 again (McCain), we deserve what we get: More of the same. respectfully, wdp |
