Chart Pie MSNBC Drops Olbermann, Matthews as News Anchors

Quote:
MSNBC is removing Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as the anchors of live political events, bowing to growing criticism that they are too opinionated to be seen as neutral in the heat of the presidential campaign.

David Gregory, the NBC newsman and White House correspondent who also hosts a program on MSNBC, will take over during such events as this fall's presidential and vice presidential debates and election night.

WiseOne's Comments, wow...I KNOW Olberman is FAR from "objective," but I really didn't see Matthews as that bad? That is quite interesting that they did that.

Persuasion? Other
others too

their not the only ones that are opinionated. look at the other news corp.'s look at how they report on each candidate and how much coverage time they give them. do they report more bad than good of one candidate versus the other? do they give more or less time to one candidate versus the other? they do. it's very difficult if not impossible to find a truly unbiased news source any more. it's very frustrating.

Persuasion? Conservative Party
Absolutely! I didn't dislike Olberman until I heard his unbelievably flaming Liberal views. I loved him when he was on ESPN and In Fuego there!

Interesting I didn't really follow his ESPN exploits too much but really enjoyed his political commentary. Hopefully, message re: his demise have greatly exaggerated. The conservative agenda has long been ruling the airwaves. People are sick too death of hearing the same garbage about small gov't, lower taxes, guns, and flag waving neocons. This typical boom and bust economics continuum of the Republicans has turned me off. I say, Barack has a message of hope that stems from the bottom up. This is very easy to embrace, as trickle down never made it to the middle class. Deregulation has brought about corruption/greed. The rich get richer and the rest of us can take a hike. 30 yrs. a republican and no more, the Republicans offer nothing for this household anymore. I hope the rest of Nv. wakes up and smells the pig party, no matter what shade of lipstick they're wearing.
