Sport Baseball Pelosi calls Bush 'a total failure'

Quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush has been a "total failure" in everything from the economy to the war to energy policy, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday. In an interview on CNN, the California Democrat was asked to respond to video of the president criticizing the Democratic-led Congress for heading into the final 26 days of the legislative session without having passed a single government spending bill.

Pelosi shot back in unusually personal terms.

"You know, God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States, a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject," Pelosi replied. She then tsk-tsked Bush for "challenging Congress when we are trying to sweep up after his mess over and over and over again."

WiseOne's Comments, actually I agree with her as he is the worst President (besides Carter) that I have ever seen (and I voted for him twice, sadly enough). BUT Pelosi is, herself, a miserable failure as well. She is one of the most worthless Senators EVER. I do not think a Senator should be calling a sitting President that however. Go ahead, Pelosi, give another hug while America wastes away and you act retarded...sheesh.

Just like a liberal, blaming someone else for their own failures. I guess everyone on the left has forgotten about the fact that the democrats have had the majority in both houses for most of GW's 2 terms, and all of their filibustering, and the fact that, while republican house members are still in Washington as promised to their constituency, until consensus is reached on energy, while the democrats, who are so "concerned" about energy, are on vacation........She is truly either an idiot, or satan incarnate.

I don't know much about pelosi, but I do Agree that bush is the worst president in history. So far he's gotten us into an unwarrented war with Iraq with no exit strategy( of which I had a chance to fight in for two years), he's taken away every right bill of rights gives us (except for 2nd amend and 3rd) with the patriot act, and he has successfully tripled our national deficit. not to mention the no child left behind act(nuff said). why can't we have someone honorable to run for president. someone who truly puts the nation above themselves or their parties? yeah mccain claims that but actions don't show it. even obama has other loyalties. we don't need an african ammerican president, nor do we need an anglo american president. what we need is an american president. we don't need someone who can make campaign promises that will be broken, we need someone who can promise but one thing, that's to do what's best for our country as a whole. someone who believes and practices true equality and justice for all.

Sadly, I DO agree that Bush is, most certainly, the worst President ever...and Jimmy Carter is right under him. He has, indeed, beat Jimmy Carter and surpassed even him! I can't wait until Bush is done...even though I voted for him twice, I can't stand his Presidency anymore.

How many imbeciles can be on one page? For crying out loud, Pelosi calling Bush a failure is like the pot calling the kettle black! If anyone has any memory at all, in the 2006 turnaround, her and Harry Reid said they were going to try and put aside partisanship and "reach across the aisle" to get things accomplished in their first 100 days. They accomplished NADA except achieving the lowest congressional rating in history! Bush's failures were all linked to having reached across the aisle to Libs. No child left behind was written by Kennedy and agreed to by Bush trying to reach out. America's worst president by a large margin was Carter the pacifist. If Bush is the worst president of your lifetime, you haven't had much of a lifetime. If he exploited the constitution so much and offended everyone by invading their privacies, I know we would have heard about it night and day over the last 7 years. Fact is, he hasn't, and you've nothing to worry about unless you are a criminal. Oh yeah, nevermind the simple fact that we haven't been attacked again since 2001 when we went on offense! DUH! Why can't we have someone honorable to run for president? What??? We are having someone honorable running for president and his name is McCain, google anything you want to about him and if you find something less than honorable let me know! I seem to recall that all the Republicans (for all their faults) wanted to continue the discussions about energy while the Lib/d's wanted their vacation (on our overpaid dime) and sat at the capitol while the D/L's rescinded making any decisions to help us out and took off on vacation anyway. They are our employees, people!!!!! If that don't piss you off what will? We don't have a perfect person running for president and we never will, I don't care what persuasion the candidate is except that they hold the constitution dear and protect our freedoms that have been earned by the blood of our forefathers. Maybe we need to re-introduce term limits to an American vote to get rid of our career politicians to make a change? That would be a start! Actually having the motivation to find a job for yourself instead of being content to live off the sweat of other peoples backs would help also. Go ahead and keep thinking fly by country is just that and see if your cities can run without the production of the fly-by's. Jeesh, how stupid is this electorate! Remember this when attacking libs, 98% of America is governed by a small town mayor!
