Yeah, well some people can't get past their own fantasies. Some people think that people free to choose for themselves would create anarchy...It's amazing to me how the same people who profess to want smaller government only mean smaller government for the benefit of people but create huge new agencies, with enormous budgets when it benefits the corporation or control over the citizens.

What is a libertarian?

1. Noun: Someone who masquerades on the internet as a conservative.
2. Noun: A country club Republican who demands that we cut his taxes because he cannot otherwise afford both his pot and his Hooker.

I did once define myself as a conservative because I thought conservatives stood for deregulation and tax cuts but I was wrong. Conservatives haven't stood for that since the era of Barry Goldwater or Reagan. So now I would define my politics as a libertarian although I do stray from the party lines. I don't think there should be legalization of marijuana or any other sort of drug. With deregulation of the government and with that there would be a cut in taxes. It makes fiscal sense. It has nothing to do with being a "country club republican". Right now though I think we need to focus on paying back our national debt. A little national debt is not a bad thing in my opinion, but too much causes the inflationary problems our economy is experiencing.
