Second Era of Good Feeling

I think who ever becomes the next President of the United States should seek and revieve support and forgiveness from the other party.

Should the Next President is a Democrat, then he should reach out and attend Tory functions in order to heal this country. Same for a Republican to a liberal function.

We need to created another era for society that is look upon as the goldern age of America.

I would like to see something similar to the early 19 century. The Era of Good Feeling, for those who do not know, is a time when America's social and politcal problem were mostly solved. If the United States had freed the slaves before 1783, then America would have gain much more than it is now.

This country is so divided by parties that they can't seem get together for a social function and sit at the same table as each other and not fight over the salt shaker.

It's one thing for them to ask for support from each other but to ask for forgiveness, I don't see anyone doing that. They will hold on to those words, puts them in a spot to become human, which they can't let happen.

It would be awesome to see the news hounds reaction!. The problem is, they'd go out on a limb to streeeeeeeeeeeetch the truth about something else. Your idea of asking for forgiveness is very powerful. It would have to be done with a sincere heart and actions to follow.

Yes, thank you. I think the first to this is for the next President to pick a unity cabinet. example would be Washington's Cabinet.
