A question

How come there isn't a Moderate forum? I consider myself as a person in the middle.

That would be the inderpendent forum. There is no "independent" party. Because being independent is no associating themselves with either party.
Hope that answers your question.

Politcal Parties and Politcal Ideology are different. I consider myself as Democrat and my ideology is the center.
I usually piss off the liberal faction of the party because of my "BLUE DOG" ideology. I have to say it is lonly being a Democrat in Texas. LOL.

I hear ya fellow Texan. In East Texas, the Republicans have, until lately, taken over. But, have no fear, the word about the NEOCONS is getting out and people are starting to see the difference. Thats not to say that the Democrat support is getting stronger. And thats because of the immigration and gay rights issues that the democrats support.
Independents are going to lean towards true conservitives in the next election i believe. That seems to be closer to the "middle"
Unless an independent starts getting some attention in the 08 texas congressional race, I don't think Texans will have much of a chance gettin away from the NEOCONS this time around.
Have you heard of a Texas Democrat running for senate in 08?

The Democratic candidate in Texas, I am supporting is State Rep Rick Noriega. Why because unlike pill popping Rush Limbfat, Whiny Sean Hannity, Non-funny Dennis Miller, and the foolish alcohoic Beck, Noriega is currently in the battlefield fighting rather being a "Chicken Hawk".

Inpdependent Party

If you (we) what a Independent Party...one would have to get one established...and that means....that has citizens...we would not vote for either party.....which would be Great.......then that way you can clean The House On The Hill...and start with a clean slate.......and they ALL would be OUT of a job........You need to remember we the people vote them in......BUT WE ARE THEIR BOSS........NOT the other way around.......THEY WORK FOR US.....and most people don't even KNOW that !!!!
They (The Hill) figurine we were bright enough to put them there......so LET"S see how much we can get by with !! well guess what it is our responsibly to MAKE sure that they are doing as they said they would...It's like having a whole house full of kids...and you just what them to go out side and play for awhile..and remind them to stay in the yard......30 mins. later you go check on them ....where are they... across the street....4 houses down .....playing in the swimming pool.....you can't TAKE your EYES OFF them..
Learn how to keep up with what is going on in ALL levels of OUR government....we really have NO one to blame here expect our selfs....but getting back to your ? we just need enough votes ...to form a new party on the ticket......and please check up on them.....if you don't know how.....get with your local city officials..... and that's another bunch you need to watch out for......are we getting the message......I need to shut up and go to bed......but I do agree with you.......we do need one.....
so what are you going to do about it in the next 4 yrs.
Have one......or .......NOT.......Who's choice is it ??? Ours.... or.... Theirs.....
SO LET"S GET REAL......Get Up... Make a Stand.....Let your Voice be Heard...Loud and Clear....And MAKE a DIFFERENCE.....Is this what we want are children.to.think that we have NO SAY in our government !!!! I don't think so......your choice.....
