Checkbox Green US Senators Should Have 2 Term Limit
One of my biggest beefs about the American Government is the fact that Senators can be elected to an unlimited amount terms. US Senators should have a 2 term limit! US Senators are elected to 6 years terms...2 terms is 12 years and that is ENOUGH!

Corruption is the biggest problem when Senators are in for too long. Also, this would give us some fresh air every once in a while! I mean Ted Kennedy is a murderer and gets elected over and over and over. He needs to go bye-bye! Robert Byrd from W.Va (the KKK Grand Dragon) needs to get his old, bitter ### home and retire! It is ridiculous.

What do you all think? Should we try for a petition to change the Constitution to force a two-year term limit on these arrogant pricks? I am really growing disillusioned with our government these days, I tell ya.

I heartily agree! And the same name came up when I read the thread Title as you have mentioned----Robert Byrd!! That pretty much says it all.....

Yup, Robert Byrd sitting up in the Senate hacking, barely speaking, barely holding his head up, ranting, raving and the like is ridiculous! He needs to go back to West Virginia, resume his Grand Dragon-ship with the KKK and let the Senate have a breath of fresh air, SHEESH.

well the Repukes were suppose to give us term limits back when they took control in 94. (contract with america)

LOL, that's about the truth there! Shoot Republican's have been spending like drunken sailors for a long time now as well. HOW do we MAKE them stop at 2 terms? Do we get a grassroots petition going and FORCE it to be on the ballot for a constitutional change? I am not an expert on how to do that. BUT, it needs done NOW!

An argument I just read that opposes term limits states:

"Senator term limits" is a great start. Add outlawing professional lobbyist. I think that our justice system has become a joke, I have been voting against all incumbent judges. Pass the word.
