Could be a little animosity there considering Obama kicked his hind end all over the place in the 2004 senate race. Alen is a trip. He's NEVER won an elected office out of about 12 tries. He's so far outta touch even with his own party. He's a joke!

yes Smurf Alan has lost but just because he loses to what people feel are a more attractive option does not mean that EVERY thing he says is NOT valid. Almost every election anymore is swung by the looks of the canidate...if we never got to se their faces and only got to listen to what they say the political landscape of this country would be vastly different. If what I say about looks is not true then why one earth did darth vador ooops ment al gore. work so hard to enhance his apperance during the campaigns.....(supposedly John Kerry as well)....sometimes I thing the days of getting all our news from the papers or the radio are something that was a great asset to us...now everything is based on looks Smurf...you know this as well as I do...if you don't look good enough then you are deemed a looser no matter how smart you are! Or how worthy you are......

You may have a point. How many republicans are afraid of Obama's looks and believe any right wing nut who says something outlandish and bad?

well his looks were nothing to be afraid about he just doesn't look rugged enough to be someone I would care to listen too! But the point is not to be judging them on their looks......and so many times people do.....that is why I wish we could listen to what they say w/o seeing their looks and how they stand and if they do this or that...it detracts from the message....and the media makes the clothing an event in itself! Why cn't we look at their records what they have to say and how they act on policies and keep their apperances out of it...but alas people are too materialistic..... btw love the avatar! it goes well with my "stage name" lol
