Clock Russian analyst predicts decline and breakup of usa

A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily IZVESTIA published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."

The paper said Panarin's dire predictions for the U.S. economy, initially made at an international conference in Australia 10 years ago at a time when the economy appeared strong, have been given more credence by this year's events.

When asked when the U.S. economy would collapse, Panarin said: "It is already collapsing. Due to the financial crisis, three of the largest and oldest five banks on Wall Street have already ceased to exist, and two are barely surviving. Their losses are the biggest in history. Now what we will see is a change in the regulatory system on a global financial scale: America will no longer be the world's financial regulator."

When asked who would replace the U.S. in regulating world markets, he said: "Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia."

Asked why he expected the U.S. to break up into separate parts, he said: "A whole range of reasons. Firstly, the financial problems in the U.S. will get worse. Millions of citizens there have lost their savings. Prices and unemployment are on the rise. General Motors and Ford are on the verge of collapse, and this means that whole cities will be left without work. Governors are already insistently demanding money from the federal center. Dissatisfaction is growing, and at the moment it is only being held back by the elections and the hope that Obama can work miracles. But by spring, it will be clear that there are no miracles."

He also cited the "vulnerable political setup", "lack of unified national laws", and "divisions among the elite, which have become clear in these crisis conditions."

He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts - the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.

He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all." Panarin, 60, is a professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has authored several books on information warfare.

Where did you find this? I want to know more about this man and his ideas. If Russia were to try to take Alaska back, there would be one hell of a fight, this I can guarantee you.

It was on www.DrudgeReport.com, but once he posts something like that he takes it off after a while, so I had no choice to post it like this. Here is another article on the same thing and a picture of him as well.

NP, I think this is interesting and this guy doesn't seem to be a dummy either. I have been mulling over just how tis will go down as well. I think if America does start splitting up, it'll be pretty fast once it starts to happen. I would imagine ALL the east and west coasts splitting off into their own countries...heck, the east coast could, literally, go back to what it was at the beginning of the country! The only wrench would be South Carolina. I think South Carolina would have to be subdued and subjugated as they damn sure wouldn't do it on purpose, but North Carolina and Virginia would. Georgia is another problem as well. Who knows how all that would play out. I think we WILL see it though...don't know exactly HOW, but I do know we'll see it.

I wouldn't put faith in a word this guy Say's.
The U.S. will split into 6 parts? Give me a break! We would be much better off together than separate. The Soviet Republics were alot worse off after they became Independent.

Yes, you do have a point there. They were worse off independently.

If anyone should break apart for the U.S. It's Alaska.

We don't need the lower 48 and they can do just fine without us.

Many have felt we should succede and the talk keeps getting louder each year.
Who knows. But I don't think that there will be a division of six parts in the U.S.
I think if anything, there will be a division due to race at some point.

It's always been a sore point throughout American History.

Turmoil in a nation is simply an oppurtunity for a powerful unifing force to take hold. It is how Hitler got his power. Germany was so desperate for an answer and Hitler was it. Look at Obama, we are facing alot of problems and Obama has done an amazing job potraying himself as the solution... Whether believe in his views or not, people think he will solve the problem yet his answer is through socialistic means. People are tired of the problem and the libertarian and conservative answer isn't good enough for a selfish society. They want government to provide the solution, and Obama answered the call. In other words in this time of econmic downturn, on top of everything else, people are desperate and more willing to accept programs and concepts they normally wouldn't, especially when they are put in very well-spoken very intellegent packages like Barrack Obama...

Just look at how the poor, the middle class, the elites, the media, and people in all classes and backgrounds are intoxicated by him. even Republicans have been afraid to say anything but I hope he is successful despite knowing the path he will take this nation down. He is the great unifier and if he succeeds we will remain one nation, under socialist programs and step by step, the free market, freedom of expression, and all of the other once radical American concepts will be destroyed in exchange for a Governmental solution. Look at history... it is the trend.

This is the beginning of Socialist America unless everyone who wants to preserve the power of the free market and limited government takes and stand and does so with history and factual evidence.
