Heart Broken Soldier Kills Himself - Military Let Him Down?

My brother comited suicide back in 1976. And we never got the note, gun or anything. Not that it is important to anyone else. But to family members it is. I have asked the police department several times. But it was so long ago, that there is nothing for them to even look for anymore.

Did anyone see Farenheit 9/11. When that lady told her son it was ok to go in the service because most of his family were in the military. But when he got killed she couldn't forgive herself. I can't imagine living with that forever.
