Seoul is a tourism Big Shot

A recent report by the U.S State Department reminded the American tourists to be on alert when visiting Seoul. However, I think this measure is seriously distorting the fact.
According to the State Department press release, Seoul and Busan are full of thievery, cutpursing and raping. It seems as if the two cities are the Gotham of Korea.
As a matter of fact, foreigners in Korea are surprised by the stable security of Korea, rather than by the unstability and danger.
A recent survey result says that tourist from South East Asia picked Korea as the most fascinating place to travel.
Seoul already proved herself as the tourism big shot when the 1988 olympic took place, boasting 10 million citizens and beautiful sceneries. Now days, Seoul is trying to improve the design and art to compete against other global cities.
Come visit us and you will not regret!

They have always been like that. My Grandpa was over there during/after the Korean war as a Master-Sargent and he said they were the biggest thieves you ever saw. He said they would sneak into your tents, etc., steal and then crap on the floor to give them good luck in not getting caught! Those people are something else for sure. I would never visit there unless I was in a Raptor with a tactical nuke...
