The funny thing is, the DEM's really don't have the majority. They have a lot of moderates that could easily have been Republicans, but they went Democrat because it was a oppritune moment to be DEMocrat. I don't have any hard feelings about Republicans losing. We needed to lose, we needed to clean house. We needed to get back to the Republican base, more needs to be done. I find it funny that the dems really have no clue what they voted into office. lol
Actually i am preaty happy, a year and a few months from now we will have a new demacratic leader, and our long national nightmare will be over and we can begin to pick up the peaces of 8 years under tierneyand dictatership. And hopfuly these "evildoers" ( bush, the devil(i mean dick cheany),rove, star, rice, gonzoles and all the rest here on terriost island. Sorry could'ent help it.

Well i won't argue with you there after 12 years of Republican screw ups i was nice. I don't have any hard feelings about Republicans losing. We needed to lose, we needed to clean house. Actually the 21% approval rating was from December 2006, right before the take over. That's when it was evident that Pelsoi was going to be failure by chosing Mutha as the majority leader which she lost, and also losing the issue about Jefferson and his committee positions. So that 21% was more about the DEMs lack of leadership then the Republicans, and it continues on a steady decline.

It seems like there would have been a spike in the approval rating with new leadership on board, but it didn't happen. The last time Congress approval rating was this low was 1979 at 19%, another democrat Congress, and ladies and gentlemen it's just going to get worse.

I kind of hope the Democrats win the Presidency and hold the majority in Congress. It's a scary thought, but it's something that I think needs to happen to wake America up.

What Democrat agenda do you support:

1. Amnesty for Illegals?
2. More hate crime laws?
3. Gun Control?
4. Expanded abortion laws?
5. Expanding Welfare?
6. Government controlled health care?
7. Socialist community programs?
8. More homosexuality programs in schools?
9. Higher taxes?
10. Clinton corruption back in the white house?

Is a Demcrat majority worth it?

soooo Republicans were in power for 12 years and had all three branches for 6 years. where's all this great stuff they did? why is everything so bad if they were so great?
I can tell you why....Because they are full of shi+!! they b*t*h and moan about the Dem's but you were in power! what did you accomplish? they had their chance. now they can shut the hell up and enjoy the show!

King, correct me if I am wrong, and I very well may be, BUT, isn't the amnesty for illegals a Bush thing and not a democrat thing?

I think America is more than ready for a "sensible" democrat for president. The problem is they either don't run or don't get the nomination because they don't hate Bush enough. The Democrat candidates have been way to far to the left and portray themselves as being hateful and unwilling to work with other party. Same could be said about a lot of the republicans too. I am tired of all the bickering back and fourth and would like to see a candidate that is not too far to the right or left and just wants to do what is right for the nation.
