On Wednesday, Blagojevich was to swear in the Illinois Senate, which will decide in a matter of weeks whether to throw the two-term Democrat out of office. The opening of a new legislative session is normally an upbeat occasion, but how the senators and the governor will respond this time is anyone's guess.

WiseOne's Comments, I tell ya, this country is so screwed up anymore. This truly is surreal. Blagojevich should ALREADY be out on his tail, yet he is going to swear in the new Congress for Illinois soon? You have got to be kidding me. BUT, doesn't surprise me too much as he IS a Dimocrat AND the Dimocrats already have a murderer (Ted Kennedy), and a KKK Grand Dragon (Robert Byrd) in for many years, so I guess you could call it par for the course for the Dimocrats!
