Paying dearly to hear Gore's climate story

AL GORE has a story he wants to tell the world. But it will cost you a thousand dollars to hear it.

In a passionate attack on the climate policies of Prime Minister John Howard and US President George Bush, the former US vice-president, addressing a very expensive lunch in Sydney yesterday, called Australia and the US "the Bonnie and Clyde" outlaws of the global environment for their failure to ratify the Kyoto Protocol.

I disagree, Smuf. I think he was just trying to make a point about just how much Al Gore charges to grace the "donor" with his presence. I saw one report where Al Gore charges $25,000 to speak with him privately. Doesn't seem like he is helping the environment to me by getting funds to fuel up his jet and SUVs. Also, that is what this forum is for, really. No one has to agree with anyone, but we should hear each other out for sure. Just MHO.

Very true, they ALL do that for sure. Too bad that when they see a way to enrich themselves that they don't find a way to do the same for the CITIZENS of America instead of for the Illegals...sigh.

HA HA..... Smurf got in trouble.

It's not hate Smurf. I'm trying to enlighten the blind. Al Gore is asnake oil salesman.

I do believe the climate is changing, but it has nothing to do with man. It is a common, routine global event that happens alot. It has been going on for billions of years. Gore has exploited and hijacked this occurance for his personal gain. And ithas been very benefical to the formal VP. He didn't get the pay off for inventing the internet, but he seems to be getting way to much credit for the destruction of mankind. There is nothing we can do to stop this event. Personally I think we're lucky that we are witnessing such an event in out lifetime. The only thing that can top this, is a astroid blasting the world or a sequel to E.T. .
