Persuasion? Conservative Party
Post REAL discussion from democrats

OK.....the first thing i want to say here is i type faster than i think so I KNOW i dont spell a lot of words correctly....

The second thing is i am a very conservative republican SERIOUSLY interested in INTELLIGENT discussion with people. I ask that if you respond to this thread, PLEASE respond with the issues and the facts with no personal attacks. I will honestly listen to and respond to your post if you do me the same respectfull act and respond to mine in that way. We all know we (for the most part) disagree on gun controll and abortion.....so lets just go ahead and call that a stalemate and deal with discussions that we might be able to actually discuss

Soooo.... My questions to the democrats here......

What honestly is making you vote for Obama over Mccain?

Why do you think increasing taxes will help the economy?

Does Obama's record of not voting (or voting just here in the state leg.) scare you at all about his ability to lead?

How will socialized heathcare help this country when it has failed or at least made the healthcare system worse in france, england, and canada?

Please feel free to add in responces to any other topic...... im definately intersted in discussing everything. Please respond with fact based (as much as is possible) responces

Obama follows a logic of central policies. He managed up to now to remain true to that philosophy, which is better than anything Neo-Cons have done in the past 8 years.

Increasing taxes is the only option now. The Bush administration has dramatically augmented their spendings while decreasing the government revenue (tax cuts tend to do that). These tax will be needed if the State itself doesnt want to go Bankrupt.

Just think about this. At the end of the Clinton administration, the american government had a surplus of 236 billions. Now, for this year (excluding the not yet calculated month of September), the United States have a deficit of 480 billions.

As for the economy itself, the taxes will have a beneficial impact if it is reinvested in programs that can help the american family: Social programs...

`

You are being selective. Obama has shown a much greater understanding than John ''The fundementals are strong'' McCain.

Wrong again. The healthcare system in all those country have saved thousands of lives and while they are notably slower, the fact that they are more accessible and universal outbalances this.

If you want further proof, just ask to any citizens of these countries why they decide to keep those systems.
