My personal belief on abortion is complicated. I feel everyone is responsible for your own actions. Just because something might be legal or possible doesn't mean it's right. This is the ethics of life. And these ethical questions will be occuring more often with the growth of genetic engineering. Abortion to me is one of the worse acts a woman can perform against herself and against life, but the law states it's her choice and utlimately she will be the one that has to answer for it, not me. I don't agree with a abortion, I don't want my daughter to ever have to think about an abortion, but ultimately we are all responsible for the decisions we make, and that's her decision not mine.

This is going to be fun. And easy. Made even easier because I can use a lefties own words to destroy his arguement.

If humans are a higher life form as you stated than animals explain to me why it is OK to murder unborn humans, but libs and PETA would not stand for one second to abort animal babies???????????????????????? By your own words humans are a higher life form ............ so then why are we free reign killing them?????????????????????????
Most folks agree that murder is wrong.

For the record I was not drunk when I started this thread, I am not drunk now, and you really did a great job of making yourself look stupid with the reply.

And that doesn't even get into the debate of if abortion should be legal when the baby is deformed or the mother's health or future reproductive ability is at risk. Abortions should be safe, legal, and rare.

While you might bring up valid points none of them are on topic for this thread.

This thread is about WHY libs think its OK to murder unborn human babies but not animal babies. There is a huge disconnect here and I want to know the reason why and the reasoning that libs arrive at their conclusions.

We've already had one lefty admit that humans are a higher life form than animals. This we knew.

I'm lost where you are saying that it is not ok to perform an abortion on an animal? If you wait too long to take your animal to the vet to be spayed and she is already pregnant, you can have the vet perform an abortion on her. We have an overabundance of animals in this world and a few abortions would help out the animal world very much.

Did he just call me a lefty? Wow have you ever read any of my post? You were comparing animal abortion to human abortion. It's irrelavant and makes no sense. Leannamarie's points were valid and to the point. I know this is a hot issue but c'mon you got to admit that your comparison was way off base.

Abortion is a cheep lazy slutes method of birth control plain and simple.

"Oh I don't need to use prevention............I'll just get an abortion if I get pregnant."

Unlike most of the animals on this planet we have opposable thumbs...............and a brain with which to consider the consequencies of our actions.

And who are you to tell a woman she must have a child she does not want? She used her brain and decided she didn't want the child, what does it matter to you?
