Gen. Tommy Franks says that if the United States is hit with a weapon of mass destruction that inflicts large casualties, the Constitution will likely be discarded in favor of a military form of government.

i say good luck. And just who will enforce this martial law? our good marines? Not to likely the ones that i know (including my neighbor, his friends, and a large number of my friends) that are all active or ex-military are pretty much literal believers of the constitution. I very much doubt that any president could get out enough military force willing to fire upon it's own people. The only people with guns crazy enough to try to enforce Martial law that I can think of would be some of the local PD, and they are smart enough to know how out gunned they are if push came to shove.

no I am more of a believer in several hot spots of Katrina like anarchy were everybody will be on their own and have to fend for themselves. That is also what I think or gov. thinks is more likely. Out here on the left coast we are seeing commercials for the first time since I was a kid (think Cuba) urging us to be prepared for a disaster or act of terrorism and specifically to have a plan.

So my question, do you have a months supply of everything you will need to shelter/survive at home? Remember that all the Wal-Marts are already targeted for take over by at least thirty different groups who have a lot of ammo but have been to lazy to really be prepared. If you don't have it on the shelf today then you better get it tomorrow. Here locally,v in the path of my work, have come across two different groups of people that think they will take over the same Wal-Mart. heck I am just going to sit on a hill and watch them shoot it out. Then go home load up the truck and bug out

Regt., Texas Volunteer Field Forces, A German national in
charge of a business (I can't identify him or his business) has
informed one of his employees, who is a Patriot, that the German
government keeps him abreast of the situation of the world;
particularly in the United States. He said that his government has
advised him that the need for German troops in the USA is to do
the job American GI's will not do in the aftermath of the
forthcoming crash of the system, and that is to fire on their own
people. This source is very reliable, and his information confirms
what we have already known or suspect. I've read a lot of stuff on
this. It seems there is a massive build up of foreign troops within
America taking place, mainly Russian, German and Chinese.
What are they doing on American soil???! This information was

The MJTF police, Multi Jurisdictional Task Force, is in virtually every
state of the union of the United States at this time. Its primary
mission is house-to-house search and seizure, separation and
categorization of men, women, and children in large numbers, the transfer
to detention facilities and the use of those facilities for interrogation
purposes. The MJTF are regular national guard, local law enforcement and
street gangs converted to national police services.

Remember that this was originally organized under George Herbert Walker
Bush. We all know of course now that President Clinton has proposed a
national police force. This is simply another name, in fact an overt
name, for the MJTF police. Now the model for the MJTF police is that
they are the velvet glove on the iron fist. Anybody who is familiar with
some of the speeches that have taken place, Ex-President Reagan spoke in
England here approximately two months ago and commented that the United
Nations forces would be the velvet glove on the steel fist. This is a
very popular phrase. It has been used extensively by these people that
are within the New World Order operation. I don't know how you feel
about this but any time I've been hit with an iron fist I usually don't
feel too good and a velvet glove doesn't make much difference.

It should be noted that most of the resources are being drawn from again,
federal fundings for regional governments. The state of Michigan
converted part of their forces over on February 11, 1989 when Senator
Carl Levin, the state ... of the state of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana met
in Lansing. At 6:35 in the evening an agreement was struck in which
elements of the Michigan national guard would be deployed in Indiana,
Ohio in the event of, and in fact it was stated that when firearms are
confiscated in the Midwest that these forces would be deployed both in
Indiana and in Ohio. Indiana, Ohio would then provide 50% of its guard
forces to police the Michigan area under the MJTF police guidelines.
Approximately three months after the arrangement was made through the
Department of Defense in conjunction with other agencies, some of them
unknown at this time, the state of Indiana backed out of the agreement.

My daughter knows ow to shoot. She understands what a hand gun is for and is trained to double tap. My wife was trained by her father to shoot starting at four yrs old. Neither of them are "Gun Crazy" but they both are capable hitting what they want to.

freightmaster may have a point though. America hasn't done much to stop the evasion across the border so why would America stop another countries military? Especially if they where driving trucks in from Mexico.


What a crock.

Good luck deploying and supplying a foreign force on American soil. Hey maybe they can fight it out for supplies at the local Wal-Marts. The only thing that comes close to that concept would be invading China. That is more likely to be successful as their people don't have guns.

According to Time magazine, on November 21, 2003, Tommy Franks said that in the event of another terrorist attack, American Constitutional liberties might be discarded by popular demand in favor of a military state. Discussing the hypothetical dangers posed to the U.S. in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attacks, Franks said that “the worst thing that could happen” is if terrorists acquire and then use a biological, chemical or nuclear weapon that inflicts heavy casualties.
If that happens, Franks said, “... the Western world, the free world, loses what it cherishes most, and that is freedom and liberty we’ve seen for a couple of hundred years in this grand experiment that we call democracy.”
Franks then offered “in a practical sense” what he thinks would happen in the aftermath of such an attack.
“It means the potential of a weapon of mass destruction and a terrorist, massive, casualty-producing event somewhere in the Western world – it may be in the United States of America – that causes our population to question our own Constitution and to begin to militarize our country in order to avoid a repeat of another mass, casualty-producing event. Which in fact, then begins to unravel the fabric of our
Constitution."
